I had lunch there on 10th August all three of us absolutely loved our lunch. I personally had the backed potatoe with chilli chicken witch was freshly made. Decor also fantastic and well maintained. To top it all it's dog friendly
Staying in Cockermouth for 2 nights. Stumbled on this place. Had fabulous tapas. Barman was great at recommending what gin to have. Wonderful selection. Dog friendly. Staff friendly & welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

Just enjoyed a couple days away in Cockermouth and this was our favourite bar for a couple of drinks before tea (they are not doing food currently)! What a stunning bar decorwise. Really lovely helpful and friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. Thank you!
Found this place by chance walking past with my wife and dogs. They are happy with dogs in the bar area so we decided to try it for lunch. We both had the special of Chilli Beef Stir Fry, it was amazing and made with steak, which was very tender and tasty. For dessert we had the homemade Sticky toffee pudding which was also amazing. The lady owner who served us was very friendly and helpful. We shall definitely be back.
Lovely casual bar atmosphere. Shame outside seating area had been damaged by recent high waters so was out of use, otherwise great riverside views. Friendly staff, good service.
